2010 Annual Art/Essay Contest

"Clean Water for Southwest Virginia" - The Clinch Coalition believes there are no greater gifts we can share with future generations than clean air, clean water, richness in animal and plant species, and the ethic of stewardship for our planet.

 

2010 Contest Theme:  Clean Water, Healthy People

Grades 1 - 4:  Maximum essay length - 1 page

Grades 5 - 8:  Maximum essay length - 500 words

Grades 9 - 12:  Maximum essay length - 750 words

 All entries for Art Category:  Maximum size:  12" x 12", any medium acceptable

Prizes are $50 for first place, $25 for second runners-up of each grade level category, and will be awarded at local School Board meetings for each county.

All entries must be submitted by April 1.  Each entry must contain the student's name, school, teacher, and grade on the back.
